Display is working at only at about 60 degrees angle.
On my Macbook Air 2018, the display goes entirely blank when i pull the lid to a normal viewing angle of 90 degrees. But the laptop is working as I can see the keyboard lights as well as listen to any background music being played. Surprisingly, if i lift the screen till about 60 degrees it works. I took it to the apple service centre and they say the entire display module has to be changed, they said the eDP connector looks fine.
A third party repair shop guy says it's a flexcable issue. Is this really a flexcable issue? Should I ask the apple service centre guys to check the flexcable? Or, is the flexcable just another name for eDP cable?
Is this a good question?
