+ You may need to pay attention to order of driver install on this. On HP models where you are using a version of Windows that was not natively installed on it, getting everything to work properly sometimes depends on the order of driver installation. On my nephews D6000 with Windows 7 or XP (It came with Vista.), if you do not install the MS HD audio, then the sound card driver (in that order) prior to installing any other driver, the sound will not work.
