Will a screen replacement fix the white spots?

I'm considering on buying the screen replacement sold here on iFixit to get rid of the known bright white cloudy spots on the display issue. For what I've read it's a design flaw of the chip underneath getting too hot. A new iPad is not an option at the moment.

The question is: Would the alternative display sold here be affected over time too? Can I shield the screen from the heat somehow?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hey there @mate0, you could use a small amount of Polyimide Tape on the Motherboard to prevent the issue from occurring on the new screen. It should be thin enough to fit inside the iPad, and should protect your new screen from the heat of the motherboard.
