How to change touch screen

We don't have a guide for your phone yet, but. yes it can be done. You can replace only the screen or you can change it with the frame. (without frame is cheaper but a bit harder and riskier but not a problem if you are careful and don't need to replace the frame) There are several You-Tube videos that show you how. some are better than others. things NOT to do that you will see in some of the videos: avoid using metal tools to open the phone or metal tweezers for disconnecting the battery use a guitar pick or plastic card or the tools sold on this site for repairing your phone. (you don't want to scratch your case or or short the battery.) BE CAREFUL how you remove the screen from the phone and where you stick the tool in removing the screen you do not want to damage the delicate ribbon cable that runs between the screen and the main body of the phone, easy to do if you are not cautious. look at the video to see where the cable is and avoid poking and prying too deeply in that area. You will need to source a new screen but they are readily available on-line (I just did a search and found a seller, I'm not in the US so you'll need to search for yourself. Doubt you want to buy one from half-way ;round the world) or you may find one at a local dealer you may opt to have them do the repair for you if you aren't comfortable with it yourself. There are also members here who do such repairs on a mail-in basis. I don't believe your screen is stocked here, but you might check on that yourself and possibly purchase a few basic tools to make the job easier. If you decide to do the repair yourself you might consider taking photos and making a guide for other people since we don't have one yet.
