Hi @soundariya39074

Have you proved that the HDMI connection in the other desktop monitor is working OK?

What is the model number of the monitor or PC if it is an All in One?

@jayeff Yes, the HDMI connection is working just fine. I am saying so because my brother uses the same monitor for his MacBook. And it works well for him.

also the monitor's model is Lenovo L-Series 71.1Cm (28") 3840X2160 Pixels IPS 4K Uhd Monitor | 1.07 Billion Colors, 300 Nits, 90% Dci-P3, 2X2W Speakers, AMD Freesync, Hdmi, 360° Revolving and 90° Rotating Screen(L28U-35, Black)

Try connecting the laptop to another device e.g. TV using the hdmi port in your laptop and check if that works.

Also are you pressing the change display hotkey at the top of the keyboard to change the display output from showing on the laptop screen only, to the external monitor only or to both screens on together?

The key is next to the key with the aeroplane symbol on it
