Hi @debracrane

What is the year model of the vehicle?

Where is the noise emanating from, front of car (left/right side?), rear of car (left/right side?) interior, engine etc?

Does it do this if the vehicle is stopped with the engine running or only when it moves?

Knocking or rattling noises in an Audi Q5 can indicate various issues, such as engine pinging, worn or loose belts, damaged exhaust system components, worn suspension components, damaged engine mounts, low engine oil or fluid levels, and worn or damaged brake components. To resolve these issues, use a higher octane fuel or have the engine timing and fuel system checked by a mechanic. Inspect drive belts for signs of wear or looseness, replace them if necessary, and have the exhaust system inspected by a mechanic. If unable to diagnose or resolve the noises, have the vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic to identify the underlying cause and recommend repairs.
