My screen flashes on for less than a second then turns off

My samsung a53 5g started experiencing some issues today. The screen flashes for on for less than a second then it turns black. Pressing the unlock button makes it flash again but only ocasionally. I tried restarting it using the volume button and the unlock button and the samsung logo showed up, less bright and with a yellow-ish tint before it went back to flashing and turning black. If I try charging it, the battery percentage shows up for a very short time then once again it turns black.
