My Laptop doesn’t even turn on when connected to power

Okay, so I noticed the model of nitro 5 I had did not have a page dedicated to it, so I decided to make one.

Onto my laptop. I was using it normally and all of sudden everything just went black. I didn’t shake it or anything, although it’s worth mentioned that it has blue screened a ton in the past thanks to dropping it a few times.

After it goes black I quickly check whether the charging light is on, it isn’t. It seems like it’s fully bricked. I tried turning it on a ton no response and no lights for that matter. I thought it was a socket issue, changed it and still no avail. I removed the charger and tried starting it, there was no use. I tried almost everything that was there in the online help guides nothing worked. It definitely should be a hardware issue.

I even tried waiting for several hours with the laptop unplugged from the charger, still no light or anything for that matter. Looks like it’s been fully bricked. I can’t identify the issue either. Does any parts have to be replaced?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

@j0hn25972 Start off with the easy things. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from your computer. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. Now hold the power button depressed for about 30sec-1min. Reapply the AC power adapter and see if your computer does show any sign of life.

Of course, it is also possible that this is a bad RAM module or a bad LCD. So remove the RAM, clean the contacts with a pencil eraser. Do it gentle so as to not destroy the module. Replace it and restart. If you have more than one module, remove it and just leave one connected. after that, try the other one.

Since it has no sign of Life, check the charger adapter is working or not, if charger is Okay then check the Power or Charger LED indication does it indicates any light condition like blinking or Blink one time & goes off.this type of indication lead to Shorting on the Motherboard, if you are not pro-technical, i advice you to take it to the proper service technician , do not try "DIY" if fault is on component level or situation or chances for repair is worst.
