Did I do something wrong with this fan purchase?
Hello All,
I have a CFI-1015A model PS5. I just purchased the 23 blade 2.15A replacement fan. It's much quieter, noticably, after installation. Now, post installation my PS5 is Intermittently warning me about the temperature of the console.
Did I purchase the wrong fan for my model? What else might be causing this. Nothing else about my PS5 has changed. Thanks!!
Is this a good question?

Hi Eric!
Can you share us a video regarding the fan performance and also about the issue your PS5 is showing? Also please show the fan in the video as well (both). Thanks in advance!!

Why did you think you needed a new fan in the first place? Was it giving overheat warnings? More often than not heat issues on ps5's, in my experience, are either system is clogged with mega dust bunnies and or the liquid metal has slid to one half of the apu creating a dry spot on half of the apu. If you have never dealt with liquid metal I recommend taking it to a reputable technician for a full clean and refurbish service.

One other point - a quieter fan will often move less air, hence producing less noise, but also less cooling.
