Bluetooth bad connection! Even when replaced

I had re-shelled my switch using a ExtremeRate shell but now my bluetooth connection doesn't work properly.

I can sometimes get one controller to pair ok for a couple of minutes but never two. I replaced the bluetooth module. Any clue?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi CardCraft!

Did you replaced the IC on the motherboard or the antenna’s?

If you’ve replaced the IC, then the next thing to do is to replace the antenna’s. It does sound like the antenna’s are the issue here, as it does connect sometimes!

Also check if the antenna’s are connected properly, and check for damage…

Also, keep in mind that 3rd party shells can give issues like not perfectly seamless/aligned as the original ones (still the ExtremeRate shells are good shells for replacement, always check if the parts will fit in the shell seamless).

Good luck with the repair!
