The cable on my new pixel pro screen is in the wrong location

The cable connection on the new pixel 8 pro screen is in the wrong location over a quarter inch off pushing the screen up over a quarter of an inch.

Did you get the replacement screen from ifixit?

If so contact their customer support (email link at bottom of page) about the problem.

Was there a screen part number on the packaging/invoice etc that the screen came in?

If it was from ifixit it should show p/n IF356-405-2.

If from someone else the p/n for a Google Pixel 8 Pro screen is G949-00688-01
