Sonos Play:5 (Gen 2) was introduced in late 2015 and discontinued in early 2020 with the launch of it's successor, the Sonos Five. The Play:5 (get 2) and Five are identical except for improved cosmetics and newer processing hardware with more ram. The speaker drivers, amplifiers, and DSP are the same.

Sonos Play 5 gen 2 is no more recognized with wifi of cable

Is there a wifi/ethernet Board that I can buy and change ?

Hi @sebjulien

Have you tried resetting the speaker and check if that resolves the problem?

If it still doesn't work, looking at this teardown video it appears that there may be a separate WiFi/Ethernet board as there's a cable connecting the Ethernet port connector to a board that is then connected to the mainboard. (stop video at 8:52 minutes)

Check what the board number is of that board and search online for that.
