1cwtw4800yq0 lid lock light blinking and not locking

So I have a whirlpool washer 1cwtw4800yq0 and the light for the lid lock is constantly blinking even when I took off the locking piece and placed it into the slot it still blinks continuously and nothing happens, the sensing light is on, not flashing. Doesn't move from that.

Hi @asgarali

Try testing the lock as described in Test #8: Lid Lock shown on p.18 of the tech sheet for the washer.

If the lock assembly is faulty search online for either of the following part numbers to find suppliers that suit you best. New p/n W10404050 supersedes original p/n W10238287.
