Here's the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop.
This shows you how to completely disassembly the laptop so that it can be cleaned.
I strongly suggest that you disconnect the battery from the motherboard as soon as the back cover and hard drive have been removed and before you commence any further work inside the laptop. This is to prevent any electrical problems from occurring due to tools slipping etc.
Use a soft brush to gently brush away the ants. Do not be too vigorous when cleaning as you don't want to damage anything. Also keep some jars/containers handy to put any screws in that you remove and try to keep them separate so you know which screw goes where, when you go to reassemble the laptop.
