My ps4 isn’t turning on when I place the hard disk
Yesterday I replaced my PS4 slim thermal paste and when I insert the hard disk and click the button to boot it doesn’t beep. But when I remove the hard disk it turns on and even shows the error for no hard disk (CE-34335-8). So my question is what possibly went wrong and how can I fix it.
Just to note that I’ve opened many many PS4’s but never had that problem
Update (07/10/24)
Just to add that when I push the hard drive in when the ps4 is on it immediately turns off.
Is this a good question?
When you say 'hard disk' are you referring to the Disk Drive, or the Storage Hard Drive?

Yes, I mean the Storage Hard Drive

Hi! Try another working harddrive to see if the PS4 will boot or not.
If not, then it's having a short causing it to shut down. Check the motherboard especially near the SATA connector to see if nothing is shorting there..
