L R Adaptive Trigger FPC Ribbon Cable Plug Connector Replacement

While trying to replace my controllers joystick completely I managed to melt a connector for one of the triggers where the ribbon cable goes. and I'm about to purchase the FPC ribbon cable plug connector replacement. I was just wondering if there's a way to take it out so then I can put the new one in.

Hi!

You need to de-solder them to get them out. This is not easy tbh. When the connector is de-soldered, then you can solder the new one in again and you should be good to.
