No display fan spinning

Ram is ok, lithium battery ok, cpu unchecked, power supply unchecked, it gives no display not even bios

Does it show any lights on the front or emit any beeps when you attempt to power it up?

i removed cmos battery (lithium) and it still is spinning fan and no display

Did you remove the power from the PSU and also press the power on/off button as well, after removing the cmos battery, as suggested?

Hi @formulet

I realize that you said that the lithium battery is OK but try a power refresh in case the BIOS has become corrupted and is preventing a normal start i.e the PC is not passing POST (Power On Self Test)

Here’s the procedure:

a). Disconnect the power from the PSU

b). Open the PC and remove the coin cell RTC battery from the motherboard. Here’s the owner manual for the PC that will help. Go to p.13 to view the procedure to remove the coin cell battery.

c). Press and hold the PC Power On/Off button for a full 30 seconds and then release. This will restore the BIOS back to the factory default settings.

d). Reinsert the coin cell battery .

e). Reassemble the PC and reconnect the power to the PSU and check if it starts OK. There may be a message on the screen about the date and time being incorrect. This is normal as the BIOS has been reset. Once the date and time have been corrected, the message won’t appear the next time that it is started.

i did what you said 1). moniter is ok with the cord 2). it works even without bios (the same fan spinning no display)

What OS did you install?

Disconnect the HDD from the motherboard and try to get into BIOS
