Lenovo Thinkpad E14 Wi Fi connects and disconnects

Lenovo Thinkpad E14 Type 20RA,20RB [S/N PF2CJBZQ fails to auto-connect, when it finally connects, after trying many online fixes, persistently, it connects for about 1 minute and then disconnects. All my other wifi devices are connected on their own with no problems.

Should I replace the internal wireless card, and if so, which model card?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi @rcrepar

Try using the laptop's WiFi as close as possible to your home network router i.e. <20cm and check if it connects and maintains a stable connection.

If it does it may be an antenna problem e.g. loose antenna connection to the WLAN card in the laptop.

Here's the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop.

Go to p.73 to view the procedure to remove/replace the WLAN card. This will allow you to check if the two antennas are securely connected to the card.
