Ipad 9th gen charging port

Charging port Connection thats soldered to the motherboard damaged. Can i replace without replacing the whole motherboard? Dont even know what it would be called. It’s the part that connects the charging port to the end of the mother board that gets soldered???? Any help? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Yes you can replace the flex that is damaged at the mainboard end, they are available but you need the exact model of the iPad to get the correct replacement flex.

The charge port replacement comes with the flex to the mainboard, but it does need to be soldered into place, if you have no experience then you will need to have a repair shop do this for you.
