Ipad knocked off component identification
I am working on an iPad mini 5 that had a damaged charge port. I replaced the charge port and now when I try to turn it on, it does not power on at all. Amp meter shows 5v for like 1 second and then it reboots itself over and over. I found a spot by one of the screen connectors where I knocked off some components. It’s looks like 3 diodes and 2 other components are missing. I need to find out what these missing components are for and if they could be causing the issue I am having.
Is this a good question?
I was able to identify the missing components and replaced them but now when I connect the charger it turns on and takes 12v 1.4 amp and is charging the battery. But as soon as I enter the passcode to login, it stops charging and the amp meter shows 5v 0 amps. If I shut the iPad off I get 5v 450ma and the battery seems to charge very slowly. Could this be an issue with one of the diodes I replaced?

@tom62076 are you get into the settings and check if there is a panic log and just screenshot it and upload a pic of the panic log

The issue seems to have been the usb adapter I was using. I just tried using a 30w apple charger and it’s working great now. It’s charging at 15v 1.3a while it’s on now. If I turn it off with the charger plugged in it’s only charging at 5v 900ma. Is that normal?

Using a usb-c amp meter connected to the charger brick.
