The iMac G5 is an all-in-one personal computer that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple Computer, Inc. from August 2004 to March 2006. It is the final iMac to use a PowerPC processor, making it the last model that could natively run Mac OS 9 (Classic) applications. It was replaced in January 2006 by the Intel-based iMac, which retained the features, price, and case design of the iMac G5.

@henryarthur according to the G5 manual the speakers are not separate, orderable parts. To replace them, you supposedly must replace the midplane assembly. Take a look at this video where the speakers are being removed. You can get the manual for the G% on the Document Tab on this site iMac G5 20'' Model A1224

While you work on your iMac, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has a device with the same issues as you do. It's easy and fun to create these guides. https://ifixit.com/Guide/new The iFixit community will appreciate this.
