animal crossing (new horizons) stopped tracking gametime

when you click on your profile, you can see how long you’ve played, now me, i’ve been an active (by active i mean on/off quarteranually) player since well start of 2022, so naturally i’ve racked up a few hundred hours.

HOWEVER— not according to nintendo, of course

my original frozen gametime used to be something like “over 430 hours” for a long while, maybe over a year

i was irritated by this problem for so long because it seemed fruitless and unfair, but i assumed that it was because maybe it was counting my lite’s gametime? (where i originally had the game), but my current switch is marked as my main one, not my old one, so i was confused

anyway, then about 2 weeks ago, i click on my profile to see another game’s progress and WHAT do i see? suddenly it’s at 110 hours? i hadn’t picked up the game recently since i’d played from march/april to july, so what, because i don’t play the game i lose hundreds of hours?

— tldr: my nintendo switch hasnt been counting my hours for years (was stuck at 430+) now it’s gone to 110+, how do i solve this

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi Aury!

This is actually network-cloud related. As everyone should see your game time.

Best thing to do in this case, is to contact Nintendo regarding this. They can see where it goes wrong in the log's.

You can't adjust anything regarding the game, game's time. Nor reinstallation or adjustment won't make a difference.

Sorry!
