Why is my pc taking too long to start up?

It takes almost 6-7 mins before it starts up!

I've tried several ways to solve the problem: toggling off the startup apps, optimizing the machine for the best performance, uninstalling several apps that I found out I didn't need (and probably were the cause of the problem), running some command prompt programs for fixing maybe any corrupted files and restoring the health of the machine, etc...

All of these, and more, haven't worked!

Hi @kipngenoaron

Have you tried starting the laptop in safe mode to see if it starts faster?

Also try repairing the startup and check if that resolves the problem.

Use the link above and then scroll down to the section headed Enter Safe Mode from outside Windows and when you get to the Options menu, select Startup Repair and follow the prompts.

Well try the following:

  • Disable unnecessary startup programs.
  • Clear up space on your boot drive.
  • Run a malware scan.
  • Access BIOS to tweak those settings.
  • Restore or reinstall Windows.
  • Upgrade your computer's hard drive and/or memory.
