Dyson Corrale Run Time

I am having an issue with the run time on my Dyson Corrale. It has been slowly getting worse. Currently, full charged and plugged in, I only get about 20 sec of run time. I then have to turn it off an back on again to get another 20 sec. Any suggestions on if I can fix this myself as Dyson is no help? Seems to be a sensor issue since it does show as fully charged.

The battery degrades actually quite rapidly.
All I have heard so far is that Dyson must replace the battery - and they are not intended to be replaced.
It's actually wild that such an expensive item has no serviceability for the battery...

I had one of these come into a repair cafe, only just over 2 years old and obviously out of warranty. I got excited when I saw a Dyson part number on the battery pack, however a Google search led to disappointment... Lots of requests "where can I buy one" and, in short, you can't.

It's actually worse than Skye says, the battery management system logs that the battery has failed so even if you replace the bog standard 18650 cells it still needs reprogramming!

At £400 or so, they made me start my "do not buy" list. Dyson batteries are over engineered to prevent repair. Tbh, most "premium" brands are doing the same now.

Go mains powered, the thermal fuses are easy to replace and that's generally all that goes wrong with this kind of product.
