How to drain Joycon battery?

I'm calibrating the batteries on my Switch and Joycons, and currently am in the step that involves draining the battery until it shuts off completely.

How can I achieve this without a particular game?

I thought about turning on the Switch and leaving it running a game on a file select screen or something, then disconnect the Joycon from the main body and placing them far away enough for them to use more power to stay connected but without losing connection to the console altogether.

Any other more effective ideas? Other than playing normally, since I don't have the time for that right now.
