Right thumbstick still drifting after replacement.

So I replaced the right thumbstick due to extreme upward drift. The new one keeps having the same issue. I've tried 3 different sticks and they have the same issue. Could there be something else causing this. Calibration was done already.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi Alex!

Okay, so only the right joystick is having issues at the moment? Can you share some pictures with us? Everyone is up to date I presume? Could still be motherboard related.

Try cleaning the ZIF connector and check the motherboard for corrosion. Could be those problems, since I’ve encountered them myself. Had a piece of goo or whatever it is stuck in the ZIF connector and caused my joystick to drift downwards even though I calibrated it. The solder might have disconnected for some reasons as well, so I would suggest you to check the whole area for any kind of damage.
