Sears doesn't actually make any of their Kenmore brand washing machines; they buy and rebrand them from various manufacturers. As such we have no way of knowing who actually made the washer, let alone any details about it.
Anyway, we need to know the model number of your washer before we can even make a guess as to what might be wrong with it. Please edit your question or add the number in a comment so we can try to figure out what's going on with yours.
