Background and Identification

The Cosmed Pony FX spirometer is an all-in-one desktop spirometer. With internal storage, an internal printer, and an LCD screen, the Pony FX can collect and print data without the need for any external computers. This spirometer can perform a variety of tests, including airway resistance tests, pulse oximetry tests, and respiratory mechanic tests. This spirometer is known particularly for its accuracy and precision, all while being portable.

The Pony FX was released in 2004, and has been a staple spirometer in hospitals ever since. There have not been any known recalls or failures, and the device is now on its fourth generation.

You can easily identify the Pony FX by its numerical pad and large LCD screen on the front. The breathing paraphernalia is also recognizable.
