HP Pavilion 17-f127ds is a 8GB laptop with a 17.3 inch diagonal HD+ BrightView WLED-backlit display (1600x900). It was released in 2014 with Windows 8.1 (64 bit) installed. It delivers in speed with industry-leading processors and has a rewritable DVD drive. The laptop is noted to have all the benefits of a desktop in a sleek, colorful, package.

The laptop can also have up to 1TB of storage space, capture all details vibrantly with its HP TrueVision HD webcam, and uses BeatsAudio and dual speakers for rich audio.

On August 26, 2014, the HP Notebook PC AC Power Cord was recalled. Any adapter marked “LS-15” were affected. Other problems include the USB stylish keyboard being unresponsive when connected to HP USB 3.0 Port Replicator, and the bluetooth option for receiving and sending files not operating.

The HP Pavilion 17-f127ds laptop can be identified by the model number and serial number printed on the label located on the bottom of the device.
