Identification and Background

The LG VX4500 is a mobile phone for the Verizon network. It features a clam shell form factor with a metallic silver body. Its form factor is a bit wider than most other LG phones for Verizon.

Its features include text messaging, caller ID, speakerphone, voice memo, alarm clock, a tip calculator, a world clock, and a notepad. Also, the external screen displays the time, date, signal strength, battery life, and caller ID when applicable, is rather small and hard to read.

The LG VX4500 was introduced in the 1st quarter of 2004 with an upgrade in November of that year. With an initial price of $139, it was intended to be a mid-range phone for the average mobile phone user. This phone has since been discontinued.
