Introduction |
| For this tear down, you will need a J1 Phillips screw driver and Spudger. | | | 1) Use Spudger to unclip keyboard from main body. Once lifted, push the white slider holding blue ribben cable and put keyboard to the side. | | | 2) Remove sliders holding purple ribben cable and disconnect cable on top left corner. | | | 3) Undo all five screws with J1 Phillips and put them to the side. | | | 4) Close laptop, flip over and remove ““ screws across the outskirt of the edge of laptop. Put these screws to the side (make sure to keep them apart from keyboard screws). | | | 5) After removing screws, flip laptop back over, lift screen and lift plastic top with Spudger. | | | 6) To remove fan, unclip cable, lift tape holding down cables over fan, undo 2 screws (top left screw is covered by the cables, use Spudger to get out of the way), and lift fan out of its slot. |
