Use the tip of a spudger to flip up the retaining flap on the daughterboard ribbon cable ZIF socket on the motherboard.

Be sure you are prying up on the hinged retaining flap, not the socket itself.

Use tweezers to pull the ribbon cable away from the ZIF socket
