Loosen the motor mount nuts

In the following steps you will loosen the nuts that hold the motor in place on the frame of the sander to release the tension on the fan belt.

For the purposes of this repair, there is no need to fully remove any of the nuts in the following steps. Just loosen them enough to allow the motor to slide back and forth.
