Free the fingerprint sensor

Step Type:

Drag to rearrange

Use tweezers to lift the fingerprint sensor rubber gasket off of the top plastic pin.

Use tweezers to lift the fingerprint sensor rubber gasket off of the bottom plastic pin.

Take care to not scratch or yank the fingerprint sensor ribbon cable or pierce the fingerprint senor rubber gasket while removing it.

Carefully peel the fingerprint cable off the back cover.
