Editing Step 10 —
Remove the touchpad

Notice: You are editing a prerequisite guide. Any changes you make will affect the guide that includes this step.

Step Type:

Drag to rearrange

Lift up the upper case and hold it above the work surface.

Push the touchpad up through the case and towards the keyboard, freeing it from its front tab.

Remove the touchpad.

During reassembly, when lowering the touchpad into place, make sure not to pinch any of the ribbon cables.
