Taking Off The Back Cover

Step Type:

Take your iFixit opening pick (regular guitar picks work as well) and carefully pry open the shell of the back cover.

You can use the iFixit Opening Tool by sticking it in and using the pick to pry out the rest.

Set the back cover aside after prying it open.

TIP: Pry open near the first 3 screws on the top of the back cover and work your way around the back cover.
