Make sure the Roomba is turned off, or electric shock can occur.

Place the Roomba on a flat surface with the top side facing you.

The three buttons on the control panel and the word "iRobot" should be facing you.

Locate the gumdrop shaped push button on the top of the roomba, directly below the word "iRobot."
