Place the camera down so that the lens is facing up.

Remove the single 4 mm screw from the inside of the battery compartment using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Remove the door from the camera.

Always place screws on a magnetic mat and write the size and location of where they were removed to know where to place them back.
