Press the slide release and slide the fore grip backwards.

Take the barrel and slide it back onto the receiver, with the ring guide over the magazine.

Guide Ring: A portion of the barrel that is screwed into the magazine cap to lock the barrel in place.

Screw the magazine cap back over the ring guide on the magazine. Tighten by hand.
