Heat the front panel adhesive

  • If you're using a suction handle, follow the next two steps to loosen the rear glass.

  • Prepare an iOpener and apply it to the screen for at least two minutes to loosen the adhesive underneath.

  • A hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate may also be used, but be careful not to overheat the phone—the display and internal battery are both susceptible to heat damage.

Verwarm de lijm onder het scherm

Volg de volgende twee stappen om de glazen achterkant los te maken met behulp van een zuignap.

Verwarm een iOpener en leg deze gedurende minimaal twee minuten op het scherm om de lijm eronder te verzwakken.

Je kunt hiervoor ook een föhn, een warmtepistool of een kookplaat voor gebruiken, maar wees bij het gebruik hiervan extra voorzichtig en voorkom dat je je toestel oververhit. Vooral het scherm en de batterij zijn beide erg gevoelig voor aan warmte gerelateerde schade.
