How disassembly s430 Lenovo thnkpad to change the battery?

Hi everyone,

I'm going Crazy. In the network no one guide exists.

My Lenovo s430 ThinkPad doesn't charge anymore.

I read online to try to remove battery, unistall Windows driver without battery and then reassemble.

I try but is too hard please help me

Hi,

Here is a link to the service manual for a Lenovo S430 laptop.

On p.64 it details how to disable the built in battery before you begin to work on the laptop.

On p.83 it lists the prerequisites and procedures necessary to remove the battery pack.

Read the Important notices for replacing a battery pack information before you think about opening your laptop to remove the battery pack and installing a replacement.
