Each battery works fine on its own though, and I can charge the tablet by itself if I plug the charger directly into it....

@danj - I fixed it by putting some grease on the right hinge (SuperDrive side). now it closes perfectly. I have no idea why it started to not close but either way its all good now except when opening it from being closed at around 90º it starts to lift the bottom case. idk if that's normal or not so
