Go into your home router setup and make sure the IP address isn’t blocked, or that you haven’t exceeded the number of attached devices allowed. There may be fixed IPs assigned by the router that you’re laptop is conflicting with. Also check the type of security used, as the laptop may be trying to use a different version of (e.g.) WPA than the router is set to use with new attached devices.
Read moreBefore you use any solvents, take a clean, old soft toothbrush and gently scrub over the speaker ports. Its good to do this periodically because of lint and accumulations anyway. Normally the screen catches most debris, and the toothbrush will brush them out gently. Make sure it doesn’t have old, dried toothpaste residue, or you just exacerbate the issue. Compressed air may help, but don’t point it directly into the speaker as you can damage the diaphragm.

Using a microfiber cloth that comes with every electronic device, and a small dab of Flitz, and some finger pressure in 85 directions and multiple doses of new polish, then gradually, over time, the glass cleaned up real nice. It’s not perfect, but this isn’t my main tablet for use or for pictures so it was more of a “project”. Love these tablets by the way. Very easy to work on, simple designs, and so many uses.
