Hello everyone!

My name is Saman Ahmari and I'm a fourth-year mechanical engineering student at the University of California, Davis. I'm a returning student after being in the banking industry for nearly ten years.

I decided to pursue a mechanical engineering degree because I've had a passion for technology and innovation since childhood. In addition, I've always wanted to do something that could positively impact the world and society as a whole, so I figured engineering was the best way to combine the things that I've always loved.

I hope to become involved in the medical device industry and apply my skills and knowledge to help people.

My involvement with iFixit will contribute to my goal of leaving a positive impact while also honing my technical skills that I can bring with me to my future career.
