Hi! My name is Jaylan DeLeon and I am a student at Austin Community College. I plan to get my Associate of Applied Science in Accounting Specialist and after that, my goal is to continue my education; even if I do not, I plan to work my way up as much as possible. I have always had a liking for numbers and problem solving so as of right now I am interested in becoming a bookkeeper.

Skills

I have completed Managerial Accounting and Financial Accounting. I'm enrolled in Business Application in Accounting and Federal Income Tax: Individual. Although I have yet to gain experience in the accounting field, I have developed communication, customer service, and analytical and problem-solving skills throughout my work experience.

Hobbies

I lived in Arizona for a year and found that one of my favorite things is going on hikes. I found some great trails to hike while I was there. Although there isn't anything like that here in Austin, I still love to spend my free time exploring the nature Austin has to offer. I also enjoy reading, doing new crafts, or trying to figure out the software on my new Cricut Cutting Machine.
