My laptop keeps overheating!
When powered on and in use, the surfaces of the laptop becomes extremely hot and may shut off without warning.
Cooling Fan is possibly broken or blocked.
- Your cooling fan uses an electric motor in order to spin and properly remove heat from the system. It is possible that the has prematurely broken or become blocked by debris. If so, you will be required to replace the cooling fan and bracket assembly.

Battery is old or possibly damaged.
- Your battery gives power to all components in the system. After time, your battery becomes inefficient and may get hot during use or charging. Note that it is not unheard of for your battery to get warm during heavy use while charging.

My laptop keeps crashing/freezing!
During any use of your laptop, your screen will freeze and become unresponsive requiring a restart. During crashes, your screen will freeze for a moment and then get a blue screen saying windows has crashed.
RAM is possibly damaged or disconnected.
- Ram acts like a highway for information to move to and from destinations in your laptop. When ram is damaged the computer can only access a fraction of it and can quickly overload it cause a crash. This will require the RAM to be replaced.

Motherboard has possible electrical shorts or physical damage.
- Components and circuitry can be damaged from use and age. You will need to physically inspect your motherboard for burns or other damage. This will require the motherboard to be replaced.

Solid State Drive has possible internal or physical damage.
- Files in your solid state drive can become corrupted or the solid state drive can become physically damaged itself from dropping. This will require the drive to be replaced.

I can’t open files that used to open/corrupted files
Solid State Drive has possible internal/physical damage or age.
- Damage to your drive will result in lost files that used to work. While solid state drives are typically more reliable than other drives. They still age and might need to be replaced after a few years. This will require the drive to be replaced.

RAM is possibly damaged
- Damaged ram may work properly in a sense all the memory works, but can corrupt files as the ram moves information from them. This will require the RAM to be replaced.

My computer won’t turn on! (No lights, plugged into charger)
Motherboard has possible critical damage
- Critical damage to certain parts of your mother can render the board useless completely. To check the motherboard you will have to physically inspect it. You should look around the area where the charger plugs in as well as where the battery connects into the motherboard.

My computer won’t turn on unless its plugged in/doesn’t hold charge!
Battery is old, might have damaged or be disconnected
- The battery receives power through a connection in the motherboard to regulate power going into the battery. If the computer works fine while plugged in but otherwise turns off instantly or doesn’t hold charge when out. The battery needs to be replaced.

My computer is slow!
Solid State Drive might be full or has age.
- A full or nearly full solid state drive will lower speeds when using programs or trying to open new ones. If your drive is above 95% full, consider deleting unnecessary files and temp files. If your drive is not full but is several years old, consider replacing or upgrade to a larger one.

RAM is possibly damaged.
- Damaged ram can lower the usable amount of memory available causing problems to slow down. However, if you are running larger programs like games that have a higher requirement, consider upgrading your ram to a larger amount instead of an OEM replacement.

Apps mostly google open and close rapidly again and again and no matter what I do such as reinstalling the app it won't fix
Also it is overheating even though the fan is operational with nothing blocking it etc

My dell laptop e7270 is not turning on when I press the power button it lights up but then goes dark after a few seconds, the keyboard backlight lights up but the screen doesn't turn on

My laptop Dell Latitude E7270, screen doesn't turn on when I press the power key. Only the keyboard lights come on for a few seconds and then the whole system shuts down again.
