There is a phenomenon, as referenced in the earlier page, where for a couple of days it just stays locked up. I have found about 3 times that after about a day or two, it will magically turn on (even without any charging during the reset/wait period). It makes no sense and I'm sure pushing the reset button would allow me to bypass the waiting. I just was waiting to dl a manual and find out (a) how to reset it, and (b) what 'reset' meant - i.e., is it a complete wipe-out or what. I still haven't figured out the second part and the only manual I have found online so far merely points out the presence/location of the reset button and does not explain its use or consequence.
