When taking pictures flash does not automatically work?
When I go to take a picture, my flash bulb does not automatically pop up like it is suppose to. What are some reasons as to why this occurs?

The flash should automatically pop up when the shutter button is pressed halfway when necessary. If it doesn't, a quick check would be that the selector wheel is not in the "no flash" mode. If that's correct, then the shutter arm is likely the issue. There is a small cantilever type spring that actuates the arm that sometimes gets dislodged or could be broken. The shutter arm back must removed and this spring inspected. Refer to the troubleshooting guide for more details in fixing your flash here.
