Still getting TE Error Code after Replacing Heat Sensor

I've had TE error code on my WM 3270C. I replaced the heat sensor (old one had a 10 OHM reading on the multimeter (the new one had a 60), so I thought it was going to work... but still getting the code. My repairman had earlier said it was control panel, and I replaced that too before I did a web search on what to do about TE code. So now I'm several hundred dollars in this on parts and don't wnat to throw in the towel. Next steps?

Answer this question I have this problem too

I don't know what the resistance should be, but 60Ω sounds too low. I think a normal value at room temp might be 6kΩ, then go lower at higher temps. If you can't find the Ω value, I would start by connecting a 6kΩ resistor in place of the heat sensor and see what happens.

It would be surprising if a new one was bad, but it does happen. Or maybe it isn't the correct part. But 60Ω is still too low IMHO.
