So this isn't that clear of the problem, when did this become an issue? What were you doing when you noticed? Are you gaming/using high performance mode? Is your brightness all the way up? Are you using the correct charger the one that came with it from the manufacturer? You can't really repair a battery unless you are a professional and have the tools, you would be better off just buying a new battery.

What CodyW said. But note that LT batteries usually go bad because 1 or 2 of the cells (18650) go bad. There are still 4-6 more that are good. I take them apart and use the good ones for my flashlights and other things that use 18650 cells.

Still probably cheaper to just replace the battery.

Amazon or E-bay have aftermarket ones that are usually inexpensive.

Yes they are the same concept as a car battery, a couple of bad cells won’t output the right amount of amps to turn the starter or not enough won’t turn the crankshaft. I didn’t say it wasn’t impossible to replace the cells it’s just cheaper and easier option to recycle them(some techs or local companies will take them and dispose them correctly for free) I’m all for saving electronics but some things are better left to professionals and people wouldn’t be here asking questions if they had the means and know how. I was providing a simple straight forward answer for the simplest solution (but definitely do recycle them) or slap them in your hipster vape and watch it meltdown and explode. (Joking please don’t do that)
